I have been learning about Explanation writing I now know that explanation writing tells about how something works. I found the quiz I found this tricky because I did,t know the answers.  My next step is to get all the answers correct by looking at the question carefully and reading the learning information

My Reflection

I have been learning about the Maori concept of well being.  There are 4 aspects of Hauroa.  I matched the words to the correct part of Hauora.

Learning About Adjectives

I was learning to add adjectives to give my sentences more meaning.

I have to remember to use adjectives that make the picture clear for my reader.

I thought this activity was easy because I thought really hard.

My best adjective was very heavy because I used two adjectives.

My next step is to use adjectives in my own stories to make them interesting.

Rounding number to the nearest 10 and 100

I have been learning to round numbers to the nearest 10 and 100. i found this tricky because it was new learning for me.  My next step is to round bigger numbers.

My Reflection

We have been learning to identify the features of a non-fiction text. I found it hard because I don't know which one to choose.  My next step is do more practice.

Term 2 week 2

Last week we were looking at ANZAC Day.  I made poppies. It was hard to make them because they were hard to cut. I tried my best then I tried again but this time i did it.
