My Certificate

Today I got a certificate in assembly for making great progress in reading and maths.  I felt happy.

Granpa's Slippers Cloze Activity

We read a story called Grandpa's Slippers and I completed a cloze activity about the story.  I found this tricky because it was hard to find the right words and use the right punctuation.  My next step is to keep trying more of these.

Te Tuhi Art

This is my dream house that I did at Te Tuhi.  I like it because it is a nice dream house.  I put in a bridge and ladders and a TV.  It was fun.

Reading Reflection

I have been learning to summarise information into my own words.  I found this a bit tricky because it was hard to find the information and put it in my own words.  My next step is to make sure I understand what I am reading and explain the story in my own words.

My Reflection

I was learning how to use my five senses to add detail to my writing so that I can make my writing more interesting for my reader.  I found this easy because i know my special place and it was easy to describe it.  Next time i do this kind of writing i can improve by using more interesting  words to describe my special place. i felt confident while doing this writing.
